The 75 years of Independence was celebrated in the school with variety programmes like, &nbs
Hiroshima Day was observed in the school with different programmes. The school captain delivered a speech on Hiroshima Day in the assembly. Information about Hiroshima day was conveyed to the students in the G K time.
Assembly activities were conducted on the day’s importance. Thought of the day and GK questions were presented by the students. Students enacted as doctor and interviewer and started a conversation, conveying the message based on taking precautions against the monsoon diseases.
A variety of programmes was planned in connection with the celebration of the reading month from 19th June to 19th July.

The Malayalam department led the program for Basheer Day. There was a skit based on Basheer’s novel, ‘Poovampazham’, performed by the students. Children dressed up and enacted as characters of Basheer’s stories. The appearance of ‘Pathumma’ with a live goat kid was a real feast to the audience. Songs and speech were also performed by the students.
